Whether you’re transitioning from big-girl-on-your-8th-grade-campus to a high school freshman, or graduating from law school, graduation day marks the end of some memorable traditions and the beginning of new opportunities. It is a day that should be celebrated with food, drinks, and style. So in the spirit of staying hungry and staying foolish, we’re “Steppin On Up” with the ultimate graduation party! And yes, in true Cuisinista fashion—heels are involved.

Who’s the graduation party for?
Is it your eight grader, who’s on her way to high school, or your BFF who’s graduating from Law School? Ask them how much involvement they want in the planning process of the party.
Keep food and drinks simple with apps & cocktails!
Sweet sips and nibbles or fancy treats and drinks are a chic and budget-friendly alternative. Low maintenance prep gives you more time to spend with your guest of honor and the rest of the party! Are you steppin’ up your centerpieces? Want to give out heel-themed favors? What about a shoe fashion show? Whatever you decide to do, don’t overdo it. Just a little party flair can step up your shindig. Get your party supplies asap! Tonya has some innovative ideas for us in her blog for this month so stay tuned!
What’s a fashionable grad to wear?
Heels of course! Are you going to suggest cocktail attire for a party at night or casual for a daytime soiree. Make sure the invitation is clear about the dress code and tell guests about the “Steppin On Up” theme and recommend they wear heels!
