During our “sip and dip” party we “sipped” yummy Sauza margaritas and took “dips” into the pool. Quality time with girlfriends is the best birthday present a Cuisinista could ask for. I recommend this type of party to anyone! Here’s a party summary for your inspiration.
Plan It: Simple Email for Small Gathering
I sent out an email to just 10-15 of my best friends to keep the headcount small. I wanted a small intimate gathering for this poolside birthday celebration.
Cook It: Margaritas & Munchies
Pitchers of water, lemonade and Rosemary Lemon Margaritas from Sauza were immediately available to pour in our cute “Cuisinista” labeled pink plastic cups. We also had pink and white chevron straws and little umbrellas to make the drinks look as fabulous as they tasted.
At lunchtime, the club arranged a beautiful tray of food in the shade next to where we laid out so it was easy for us to mingle and add a variety of dishes to our plates. We got to choose from fish tacos, chicken quesadillas, chicken Milanese salad and of course, we had to have curly and sweet potato fries to serve our guilty pleasures!
Create It: Poolside-friendly Favors
When guests arrived, I surprised them with chevron hair ties so they could use while hanging by the pool.
Style It: Spring Into the Pool
At this party, the Cuisinistas loosened up poolside in flowy tops, mini frocks, colored lace, printed skirts and more.
The girls all enjoyed each other’s company and got a tan in the process. The time flew faster than we wanted – three hours seemed like thirty minutes. I treasure every moment and all of my girlfriends immensely. This was truly the best birthday party as it wasn’t too wild; it was perfectly chill!
