photo(5))It just fits to have adorable little finger foods at a baby shower or sprinkle! Let’s face it, all of your guests are focused on the adorable little baby who’s birth is quickly approaching – not on the food. But you still want the food to be tasty and adorable — um of course.

Party apps can keep you in the kitchen prepping the entire day before, but they don’t have to.  Here are some adorable little appetizers that your guests will love, and you will love how simple they are to put together.

Mini-Cupcakes on Safari

I’m not much of a baker, so instead of making your own themed-cupcakes from scratch, a great alternative is to just buy a box of cake mix, some icing, and some creative decorating items. The fun is in the creative decorating right? Ashley bought some decorating icing in black and chocolate chips that has made it easy to draw the lines and dots on the cupcakes. Then Ashley’s mom had a great idea to place the cupcakes in easter basket grass – so cute right?

Another time-saving trick is to just pick up some mini cupcakes at your local bakery and ask them to decorate them to match the theme of your safari sprinkle. That should be less than an hour of cooking for you to throw an awesome shower. Now all you have to do is put some bubbly on ice – maybe with some pomegranate seeds on the side for flair. Also, don’t forget a non-alcoholic alternative such as sparkling water and cranberry for the guest of honor!

I hope you enjoy these adorable and easy appetizers for your safari baby sprinkle!

Cheers!
