Plan It:

“Matching” Mailed Invitations: At about 3 weeks prior to Andrew’s “Choo! Choo! Andrew’s Two” Birthday Celebration, guests received these adorable train-themed mailed invites with the heat-embossed train stamp. Prior to receiving this invite, guests received a “Save the Date” emailed invite (see above picture) letting them know about the topline party details and to expect more to follow.

Cook It:

Kid-Friendly Sips: Each kid got these adorable Train Sipper Cups for juice and water. They were a huge hit. I loved how they were very functional on the hot humid day and added party flair at the same time.

White Sangria: We set out this delicious White Sangria for the adults to enjoy while mingling and watching over the little ones.

Mini-Cupcakes: When it came time to sing “Happy Birthday” to our little two year old, everyone got Andrew’s favorite – Mini White Cupcakes with Rainbow Sprinkles! The cupcake toppers were made to match the invitations with the heat embossed train stamp.

Create It:

Personalizable Table Sprinkles: Train-shaped “Andrew is 2” table sprinkles from SetToCelebrate on Etsy really went a long way and made the table look great.

Playground-approved Favors: Everyone received Bubble Blowing Train Whistles and Train Water Guns as their favors at arrival so they could play with them at the party. Perfect for a playground. The favors were wrapped with DIY Heat Embossed “Thank Choo” Tags.

Festive Decor: Balloons in the colors of the party (red, yellow, and blue) as well as a large number 2 balloon marked the location of the party.

Train Centerpiece: We found this adorable train-themed centerpiece by SetToCelebrate on Etsy.

Simple and Creative Crafts: If and when kids were taking a break from playing, they were encouraged to decorate train cut-outs, made from construction paper, with crayons and stickers.

Train Photo Polaroids: Guests had the opportunity to take home a cute polaroid of their kids posing with silly train photo props by KROWNKREATIONS on Etsy. The mustaches were definitely the most popular!

Style It:

Big Floppy Hats and Babiators: Sun Protection is the hottest trend of summer and big floppy hats and babiators have been this years must-have accessories. Check out these cutie-patooties in the sassy sunglasses and haute hat. The most stylish guests were wearing them!
