Annual pumpkin carving parties are a great way to get everyone together for a night of innocent fun!!! It brings back childhood memories of carving out a pumpkin in celebration of the sweet-filled holiday, Halloween. For the kiddos, it’s all about creating those childhood memories. Besides, with such busy lifestyles, this is a good way to make sure you give yourself and your family time to enjoy the season and the traditions that come with it. Bring family and friends together for a night of arts and crafts, and dress accordingly.

Cook It: Guests are going to be busy mingling, planning, and carving their pumpkins but they will need to savor a few bites. Don’t go overboard but definitely have Halloween-themed appetizers out such as Witch Hat Cookies, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, and Spinach Dip in a Pumpkin-carved bread bowl! Pinterest is great for stuff like this. So cute.

Create It: Get people inspired from the moment they arrive by setting out eye-catching pumpkin carving and decorating items! Tonya got some fabulous pumpkin carving tools at her local Halloween party store and some decorating items at Joann’s Fabrics.

Style It: And last – but not at all the least – you’ve got to look good at your pumpkin party right? Here are some quick tips you may or may not have considered for an event of this STYLE!

Remember the setting: If you’re carving a pumpkin it can get oooey and gooey. Wear something you are not afraid to get lathered with pumpkin seeds. If you’re using glitter and glue, like me, be prepare for a touch of shimmer embellishment to be added on that gorgeous sweater.
