For the adults we are offering a wide assortment of finger foods- since who has two hands to eat when you are chasing a 1 year old?  Our delicious main course will be pulled pork sliders.  We will cook the pork in a crock pot, which is very easy and will keep the meat warm throughout the party.

To make the Pulled Pork Sliders (full recipe here) place 8 lb pork shoulder into a crock pot (fatty side on top). While in the Crock Pot, rub spices vigorously into the meat until generously covered all over. Add ¼ water to the Crock Pot without rinsing the rub off the meat. Cook on low for 6-10 hours.

We are planning to serve the sliders with some sassy summer sips, including Strawberry Mint Lemonade to complement the spicy Pulled Pork Sliders. Yum!

Stay tuned for some baby party flair ideas from Tonya!

Cheers,

Kristi
