When cooking for your gender revealment party there are two colors you want to pop- pink and blue.  While it’s not practical or particularly tasty for your guests for all of your food to be colored, you will want to carry your theme through wherever you can.  One great and easy place to start is the beverages you are serving.  You can make these ahead of time and set them out in clear pitchers or punch bowls to add to your décor.  One adorable touch to these punch bowls is to float little rubber duckies. And of course, you must have a pink drink and a blue drink!

Pink: Strawberry Mint Lemonade

  2. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves
  3. Add the strawberries and mint and simmer for 5 more minutes
  4. Remove from the heat and let steep until completely cool
  5. Strain the strawberry mixture and discard any solids
  6. In a 1-gallon clear pitcher, add the lemon juice, 14 cups of ice and cold water, and the strawberry mint syrup.
  7. Stir until well mixed
  8. If you want to spice this up, you could swap out the water for iced tea flavored vodka- YUM!
