Be careful ladies, its getting SPRINKLY out and you’re in for a wild time.
So, most of you know that I am expecting – again! In fact I only have a little time left. So its about that time – time to celebrate our second expected baby boy. I am looking forward to celebrating this special time with all my closest friends. But how?
I’m sure you all have heard about the current trend for celebrating expected 2nd and 3rd babies – a baby sprinkle! Its not a full on shower (because you’ve already been “showered” with all those baby gifts) but its a smaller more intimate sprinkle. I think this is a really cute idea and one of my best friends, Brinlea, and my mom offered to throw me one! Lucky me!

Choosing the Venue: Make It Fun
The setting should be smaller and more intimate since it’s a smaller sized party. Also it works out well if the venue is focused on a fun activity for all guests. We decided to go with Paper Source as the venue where we will be learning how to make our own stationary. So fun! As you know I love crafty things so this is perfect for me. Other venue ideas we thought of were getting manis and pedis at a trendy upscale nail salon like Dashing Diva or spa treatments at a spa. It’s just important that the venue has a private area where everyone can ultimately sip, mingle, and munch.
Sending Your Invite: Paperless Post
In addition to the standard invitation points (date, time, place), I suggest specifying a small gift such as favorite book or baby essential. It allows your friends to “sprinkle” you with presents but doesn’t go overboard- you HAVE done this before right? You’re baby items are just in need of a minor makeover not a completely new registry!
