Picture 62Don’t quote me on this but fresh flowers make a great touch.  And, since this is Red, White, & Brew, I might recommend using empty beer bottles in an arrangement on their own scattered throughout your bash or set out on a table much like a set of bowling pins with a flower or two in each.  Sunflowers are always a hit.  Often overlooked, flowers can be a great touch and bring a sense of vibrancy to the affair. red white brew decorThis festive centerpiece is fast, easy, and fun so its approved by me. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Drink a beer and save the bottle (You’ve got this right?)
  2. Get some flowers
  3. Tape red, white, or blue tissue paper around the bottle
  4. Create a festive label and place it on the bottle
  5. Tape or glue a ribbon around the top
  6. Place some flowers into the bottle and give the rest to your wife/girlfriend

If you are single, your flowers are sure to earn you special favor with the ladies, and if, like us here at Cuisinista central, you are officially or unofficially off the market, then no doubt it’s an excellent time to spring for those flowers your wife has been dropping hints at since Valentine’s.

Cheers!

Chris
