It’s not even Thanksgiving yet but the holiday spirit has definitely filled the air. There are festive lights all over the city, my Christmas decorations are already up, and personally I’m already feeling the pressure to finish my shopping and Christmas cards!

No matter how hectic the season gets, it’s always important to get your besties together (sans kids) for a couple hours of holiday fun. This year I’ve decided to host a cookie exchange called “Christmas Cookies & Champs”. Everyone will bring 2 dozen cookies and exchange them at the party while having some champagne, and go home with an eclectic mix of holiday cookies for gifting or enjoying at home.

Now for the Invite

Be sure to send yours out 3 weeks before your party of possible. This will allow your friends to make time on their calendars before the holiday chaos begins. So sending an invite out this week is ideal for a 12/13 party.

We found this invite on paperless post. Since it was actually hard to find a cute pre-made cookies swap invite (yes they have a few), we took a standard but bright colored invite and altered the font and language for our get-together. Feel free to use this idea for your party- you can find it under Christmas Invites. They have adorable Hannukah Invites too.

Get Festive Cookie Boxes
Now is also a good time to order adorable festive cookie boxes for guests. I found these red and white polka dot boxes on Etsy. I’m planning on setting these out at a wrapping station for guests to wrap up their cookies to take home.

Excited yet? i just love how simple, girly and fun this party is- and practical! Everyone needs holiday cookies, right? We will have lots of cookie recipes to share this month but also an amazing champagne recipe made just for our party from my friend at Soho House NY. Stay tuned this week!

Party On,

Ashley
